Flamingos, aqua waters and palm trees are combined to create a nightlight that just seems synonymous with the tropic’s sunlit ambiance. The two birds face each other with their necks entwined and create a vertical focal point in the painting. Behind them are a few palm fronds of a jungle lagoon and the aqua water adds a soft turquoise color for the remainder of the scene. Because of the height of the bird's necks, the glass size was increased to 5 inches so the design would have enough vertical space for the bird's bodies.
