Blue jeweled Butterfly Fairy

     I've painted this nightlight of a fairy in blue and white with a tiny amount of purple on the wings and drape. Her crown is decorated with swarovski crystals in alternating shades and the flowers have purple gems. She holds a large azure jewel and the shimmers on her gown are a complex blend of iridized ultra-fine glitters in coodinating colors. Created with 4"x4" iridized textured glass and translucent paints.
